This is a tale of a man who spent most of his days finding a perfect partner for himself on the Cyberspace. Yes that man is me. I just thought I will share the story of my love with you. How a man who used to spend his hours looking for someone is now planning romantic getaways with my wife.
It started in 2007 when there was a buzz of facebook all around in the UK and some of the dating sites were also marketing themselves on TV and on the Internet. Facebook was making it mark in the UK when I was just starting to learn how to build my own Website. I was recently single and was a bit depressed on my recent love loss. While browsing the net one day I found this dating site so I decided to give it a go and register on it. Later after creating my profile I started to browse the website and check if I can find anything. First few days I browsed to see what kind of people I can find there, who matches the best with my likings.
Then one day while checking my email I got an email from the dating site saying I have received a message from someone. I logged into the dating site to check who it was from, it was from a girl near my area, who had a lovely profile and cute picture of herself. She also sent me a very sweet but short message so I replied back and we kept on emailing each other for next few months. It was all going fine till the day my computer had a virus in it and I couldn’t use the PC for few weeks till it was fixed. Also during that time I had to leave to Italy for business purpose.
After returning I fixed my computer, then I logged in to the dating site to see whether the girl has send me any messages. When I logged on I found out she already terminated her account. I was totally gutted as she sounded interesting and she was very beautiful.
Then it was summer time the day of my Birthday. I planned a barbecue party with my mates, I was about put the first meat on to the barbecue I heard the door bell ring. There was a delivery man outside my door holding a medium sized package. He checked my details and told me the package was mine. I opened it up and there was the BIGGEST SURPRISE of all time. The present was sent from the girl who I used to chat to on the internet dating site. I completely forgot that I gave her my Website address in which it had my personal details. The gift had a little note on it with her name and number. This is all I needed and now we are married and planning a romantic weekend away to Italy. Weekend away for couples to India.
